Xpress Money welcomes Ramadan on a high note with a slew of awards in 2017

~ IMTO lauded for excellence in customer service, CSR and marketing initiatives~

Xpress Money, one of the world’s most dependable money transfer brands, has started 2017 strongly, with a slew of award wins in the first half of the year. The brand has been feted for excellence in business development, marketing, social media, HR and CSR practices, and has netted a total of 7 awards in the first half of 2017.

On the business and customer service front, Xpress Money won “Best Remittance Service Provider – Middle East” at the Banker Middle East Industry Awards 2017 and “Best Remittance Service – Global” at the CFI.co Awards 2017. The awards recognized Xpress Money’s commitment to customer convenience as evidenced by investment in network expansion, the launch of new services such as real-time account credit facilities, extended international transfer capabilities through strategic collaborations and the introduction of mobile wallets in key territories.

Xpress Money’s responsiveness in marketing and engagement on social media were also lauded, with the brand winning “Best Use of Social Media in Marketing” from CMO Asia and “Best Use of Video” from Golden Globe Tigers Award 2017 for the Studio Xpress campaign. Studio Xpress was an online show broadcast on Facebook and YouTube that transported its Arab audiences to all the action of the Euro 2016 football cup, with behind the scenes commentary and insight. In the months following the campaign, 1.5 million Arab football fans engaged with the video. The videos racked up 500,000 impressions on Twitter, over 115,000 views on YouTube and roughly 1,000 shares.

Xpress Money also won recognition for its innovative HR strategies designed to create an inclusive and gender-balanced workforce. The brand netted the “Award for Continuous Innovation in HR Strategy at Work” at the 11th Employer Branding Awards and the “Exemplary Woman Leadership Award” at the 4th World Women Leadership Conference & Awards. On the CSR front, Xpress Money won the “100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders” by World CSR Day.
