Our teams are hard at work developing relationships with bank partners to bring new money transfer channels to those banks’ customers. Our global aim is to enable as many people as possible with safe, secure and convenient remittance channels – be they direct Xpress Money customers or coming through a bank.
That’s why we’ve spent a lot of resources developing a technology platform that can handle international transactions on behalf of our bank partners. This innovative plug and play fintech solution is open, flexible and compatible with most international systems – which means we can bring new partners on board very quickly.
We’ve recently added ADCB – one of the UAE’s biggest banking brands – to this platform. Now, ADCB customers can access account credit and international remittance services straight from their ADCB mobile banking app, which is available for iOS, Android and Blackberry.
The first phase of our partnership with ADCB enables bank account transfers to 14 destinations including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. We’ll be adding more countries soon to bring even greater value to the bank’s customers.
All users have to do is log onto their ADCB mobile app, tap on ‘Transfer Money’ and select ‘Xpress Money Global Money Transfer’ as their preferred channel. The transaction, once requested, is seamlessly handled by Xpress Money’s network.
For customers, this partnership enables cost-effective money transfers that can be conducted on the go, or from the comfort of an office or couch at home. It completely does away with the need to queue at teller windows, or filling out transfer forms.
Other customer benefits include easy record-keeping and faster transactions. There is no fear of transfers not going through due to inaccurate details or smudged transfer forms. The transaction records show up within the ADCB app so customers can keep track of what they’ve sent, and when.
